Rogers
and Haynes' Plymstock Scheme Short-Listed in Affordable Home Ownership
Awards
Rogers and Haynes are proud to announce that their Plymstock library scheme has been shortlisted for an award in the Affordable Home Ownership Awards 2009. Plymstock library is the second largest library in the city at 600 square metres and opened in February earlier this year. The development also comprises 27 affordable homes, 8 of which are for special needs. This project was carried out under a design and build contract working in partnership with Spectrum housing association and Rok with the library service providing consultation regarding their specific requirements for the library element of the project. Part of the library development included commissioning of a stained-glass window feature that reflected elements of a piece of ceramic artwork attached to the original and subsequently demolished library. |
