Banner Court, Winner Street, Paignton. The re-development of 60, 66 & 68 Winner Street, Paignton provides a mixed development of retail and residential accommodation. The scheme incorporates provision for a food outlet retail unit at ground floor level, for Plymouth & South West Co-operative Society Ltd, together with conversion, alteration and partial new build to achieve twenty self-contained flats and houses for Signpost Housing Association. The existing building is located within a Conservation Area and is of specific interest to Torbay Borough Council because of its importance to the HERS (Heritage Economic Regeneration Scheme) within Paignton. The project involved the refurbishment of the existing two storey 'art deco' facade, which is clad with glazed faience tiles. The building works were completed in July 2004.
